*Skills : Data Architect*
*Duration : 6 Months+*
*Location : :Indianapolis , IN *
Data Industry includes, data strategy implementation, data base
development, Data Engineering, Data analysis and Modeling .Seeking
experienced data architect with experience in designing & implementing
large scale distributed data strategy.
Must haves
• Will be responsible for analysing and recommending technology
strategy, implementation strategy and define governance.
• Good knowledge of Data Management Principles like Data
Architecture, Data Lineage, Data Governance, and Data Strategy.
• Should understand the Data Quality, Data consistency and data
governance and should have implemented at least one large scale data
warehouse solution.
• Very good in data modelling, design monitoring metrics, quality
metrics and audit requirements.
• Should have at least 8 years of experience in the data industry
• Must have very good knowledge of Big Data technology stack, MPP
and traditional data base systems
• Good Dimensional Modelling skills.
• Experience in designing Data Marts / Data Warehouses and Very
Large Database Design (VLDB).
• Drive/Assist the team with Data Model, Database, ETL and Report
Design.
• Solid knowledge of one or more industry leading RDBMS or Data
Warehouse Appliance DBs (e.g., Oracle Exadata, Netezza, Teradata, Redshift,
Big Query etc.)
• Ability to write Complex SQL queries, Database Programs and
Shell Scripts.
• Define Data Standards and Design Patterns.
• Troubleshooting and Addressing Performance Challenges related
to Data Model/Database/ETL/Report.
• Expertise in providing Data Architecture solutions and
recommendations that are technology neutral.

Desired skills
Knowledge of at least one MPP preferable Redshift and/or
Big Query
• Some experience in designing data visualization and have data
engineering is desired
• Prior experience in media industry is desired.
• Experience on one ETL and Reporting tool is preferred.
• Experience in Architecture Consulting and/or Performance
Engineering consulting engagements is a plus.
• Knowledge of Big Data (e.g., Hadoop) and NoSQL technologies
(e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus.
• Expertise with any Data Modelling tool (e.g., Erwin) is a plus.
