Please find below mentioned job description and revert back with the updated resume to [email protected] *Job Title: Scrum Master III (26378 – 1)* *Location: Philadelphia, PA* *Duration: 11 Months* *Details:* As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for providing effective collaboration, leadership, and coaching skills supporting the development of the Viper Ops Portal Project. Most importantly this person is responsible for directly helping the team meet its commitments by encouraging adherence to the Scrum principles and practices, removing impediments from the team while promoting self-management and fostering a culture of continuous self-improvement. This person is also responsible for maintaining a positive, empowering work environment with the team that includes developers, product owners, and all product stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed • Collaborative problem solver able to facilitate conversations between multiple teams • Maintain and communicate relevant metrics (velocity, burn- • up / burn-down charts, leave plans, etc.) that help the team see how they are doing. • Act as a project manager when necessary and engage and collaborate with other project stakeholders • Take responsibility for managing dependencies between the development team and third parties or between development team and other scrum teams • Strengthen the presence of the development team as an Agile Center of excellence. Actively contribute to the Agile Community within the organization. • Provide status updates to the team and participate actively in story demos to the business users. • Proactively raise risks to story completion. • Drive continuous improvement of team - both technically and process-wise - by participating in different sessions - lean workouts, retrospectives, futurespectives, etc. • Collaborate well with a team of analysts, developers, functional users and scrum teams • Leverage and Implement industry best practices and standards related to Agile scrum development & testing practices. • Experience in coordinating with business and IT across all phases of software development life cycle • Expertise in use of tools such as Rally for driving Scrum practices • Implement Scrum principles to improve team performance • Experience in estimation of Project Timelines and test Plan • In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies like Waterfall and Agile • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required • Aware of and comply with the change management work instruction • Required Technical and Professional Expertise *Requirements:* • 5 – 7 years of experience in Scrum Master with knowledge of every role • Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage medium / large size Agile projects • Ability to explain issues and resolutions to technical and non-technical staff • Able to fluently speak and write in the English language • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent • Significant IT programs development or design experience or equivalent • Preferred Technical and Professional Experience • Scrum Master Certification • Project Management Certification - PMP • Experience with Agile software development methodology • Systems analysis or programming related experience • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree -- *Thanks & Regards* *Lucky Pawar* Sr Technical Recruiter *Integrated Technology Strategies, Inc.* Direct: 856 519-0049 [email protected] | www.itstrategiesinc.com Yahoo/Gtalk IM : laxmikanthpawar -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
