Hey Santosh, We currently have 2 contract Java opportunities open that we can use H-1 candidates for. I've included both job descriptions below. Both positions are at Columbus. Communication should be really good and they'd have to be comfortable working in Abercrombie-like clothes (jeans, flip flops, etc.) We'll need to meet each candidate prior to submitting their resume. They don't have to sit in Columbus, they'll just need to go into one of our offices somewhere in the country before we can submit.
Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Columbus Ohio Duration: 6 + month Each candidate will be required to come in for an onsite interview following an initial phone screen. #1 Contract position - 6 months, but very likely to be extended. - A & F is bringing an outsourced project back inhouse and they are working on custom-built internal HR applications. Integrating with PeopleSoft applications and some already existing basic CRUD apps. HR applications are beling used for - managing job applicants, hiring, terminating, managing head count, forms management (different forms for each country), managing various other forms of A&F employees Mid - Sr. Level Java Developer - heavily focused on middle and back-end development * This role will be heavily focused on enhancements to the existing applicationss. There is a lot of growth planned for the remainder of 2010 and into 2011 for the company internationally, so they will be taking on those enhancements during that time. Each country has different HR laws/regulations. All candidates Must have professional, hands-on experience with Spring * Spring - working with Spring MVC to manage the UI, JDBC to connect with database, JMS (not working with as much as the other stuff) and IOC (dependency injection) * Hibernate - connecting with Spring and using it for ORM (object relational mapping) * SQL - need to be able to be SQL- heavy with ORM and connection to the database (but not actually doing a lot of work within the database itself) * Maven and Subversion are pluses * They have Struts out there but this is not very important to this role #2 The Senior Java Developer will function as an integral member of the team. The associate will be responsible for application development, testing, and documentation of all code. The associate will also interface with customers to assist in the design, testing, and implementation process. Responsibilities: 1. Must be able to code, debug and test application programs utilizing JAVA and web based programming tools. 2. Must be adaptive to the use of new software aids and programming techniques as they are required or adapted in IT. 3. Interacting with multi-tiered Oracle 10g database. 4. Working with all levels of the business and the development team to establish, promote, and enforce architectural guidelines as well as assist in the implementation and problem resolution of existing applications and requests. 5. Ensuring work meets functional and quality expectations within given timelines. 6. Designing, coordinating, and executing application functional tests to ensure fulfillment of business requirements, IT quality, architectural, and security standards on assigned projects. Requirements and Qualifications: 1. 4 year degree in an IT related field. 2. Minimum 4 years experience in application development utilizing J2EE, Spring MVC, JSP, JDBC, EJB, AJAX, SQL, Web Services, iText, ANT, Maven and Tiles. 3. Minimum 1 year experience in a retail environment. 4. Ability to adapt to a fast paced core project. 5. Must be able to command the attention and respect of highly technical associates. 6. Strong problem solving, analytical, design and testing skills with an ability to navigate technical issues, evaluate risk and possess a basic knowledge of IT architecture. 7. Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations. 8. Ability to deliver effective, clear, and consistent functional and technical documentation. 9. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 10. Expertise in IT systems development lifecycle. 11.
