Mainframe testing experience Complete job description: Job Description: Join the Retail Banking team as a Systems QA Analyst to support internal bank applications development for retail on an initial 4 months contract with an option to extend. This individual uses advanced knowledge in testing ETL processes using tools like Informatica, DataStage, SSIS etc. He (she) will have a minimum of 5 years of experience testing ETL processes. Financial (Banking) services experience a plus. This person will be responsible for creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans, test cases and test scripts. He (she) performs manual (and ultimately automated) testing, which will include system and regression testing, front-end and back-end testing, uses knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving complex test problems. Participates in planning and directing quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process.
