Job Title: Oracle Financial Application Developer Location: Indianapolis, IN Duration: Full Time *Skills:* *10+ yrs of development experience, with at least 3+ years as a technical lead or senior developer. Oracle Financial, Oracle Apps.* *Description:* We are currently searching for an Oracle Financials Lead Developer responsible for application design, development, maintenance and support in a heterogeneous systems environment including Oracle Enterprise applications with specific focus on Oracle*s Financial Accounting Hub. The lead application developer will be actively involved with the systems architecture design and development process, including requirements analysis and business analysis. This individual will partner with key business stakeholders to understand critical business requirements and strategies to able to effectively design and develop RICE (reports/interfaces/conversions/enhancements) application components to meet or exceed stakeholder requirements. This is a Direct Hire Position. *Key Accountabilities:* * Develops SQL and PL\SQL scripts for Oracle*s Financial Accounting Hub * Formulates and defines scope and objectives of development activities; Follow a structured methodology for implementing system changes, configuration modifications and application upgrades in testing and production environments * Devises or modifies programming to solve complex problems considering systems capacity and limitations, run time, and form of desired results * Prepares detailed specifications based on gathered requirements; Analyze requirements and evaluates multiple options to best address software system requirements * Documents program development (logic, coding, and corrections) to achieve desired level of knowledge harvesting and internal control of all systems * Performs hands-on activities to develop, tune, maintain, and support nightly processing, reporting, and query capabilities to ensure a high performing system * Serve as a senior-level back-up for existing financial applications and to ensure appropriate segregation of duties / SOX compliance * Works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams and flowcharts * Provides guidance and training to less-experienced analyst/programmers; Performs peer code reviews * Work independently and in coordination with other application developers to investigate, analyze and resolve issues * Work with internal technical resources on project implementations and to resolve business and technical issues *Key Qualifications:* * 10+ yrs of development experience, with at least 3+ years as a technical lead or senior developer * 5+ yrs of experience with Oracle Development (PL/SQL) and relational schema design * 2+ yrs of experience with multiple database platforms including Oracle and SQL Server * Proven experience in translating business needs into solutions, as well as determine and demonstrate business benefit and value to business * Strong analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills * Proven experience working within heterogeneous systems environments; supporting multiple technologies, tools and techniques is required to support multiple applications, projects and maintenance * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to audience of multiple levels of knowledge * Demonstrated knowledge of Insurance or Financial Services industry preferred * Expertise and experience in .Net programming preferred Thanks, Santosh Ph: 732 579 6260 Fax: 603-954-3098/513-407-5237 [email protected] http://www.h3-technologies.com "Confidence We Deliver" Specialists in Information Technology Solutions for Businesses (Consulting, Software Development, and Staffing)! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
