NIST 800-30, 53, 63 * Position is responsible for ensuring the Xerox Health Enterprise Platform has the proper Policies and Procedures in place to meet the contractual obligations of the NY-MMIS project. This person will work with all identified security control owners and security staff to codify that the policies and procedures align with contractual requirements of the NYMMIS program’s security controls, meet Federal and New York State regulations and law. Resource also helps maintain the Security, Privacy, and Confidentiality Plan and the Security Matrix for tracking the security control status and acceptability. Resource provides security and privacy management direction, reporting and associated documentation related to work status. This position will report to the Xerox Security Implementation Manager and work directly with the Xerox NY-MMIS ISO. Close collaboration with the State of NY Department of Health and NY ISO will be required. Description of Supplier Deliverables: Collecting Security Policies and Procedures from various organizations where possible Evaluating existing policies and procedures for compliance with NY and Xerox ISO Requirements Writing new policies and procedures or enhancing existing as needed to ensure compliance Evaluating policies and procedures controls and assentation documents to ensure security controls are in place and being followed Verification of security controls are properly implemented Working with the State of NY and Xerox Security Teams to complete a full risk assessment of the Health Enterprise Platform Help out as needed on security related work following the Implementation Managers Direction. The individual should have detailed & hands-on knowledge of: NIST 800-30, 800-53, 800-63 HITECH Security Requirements CMS MITA Security Requirements, CMS Moderate +, MITA 3, MECT, CMS workbooks HIPAA Existing Knowledge of NY Security Requirements would be a benefit. Experience in security implementation surrounding Medicare management information systems would be a plus.
