The methods could include documentation review, one-on-one interviews, client meetings or JAD sessions. After gathering requirements, the business analyst documents them for validation by the client. Following validation, the analyst will develop detailed specifications for the development team. Business analysts also support development and testing as needed. The business analyst is also a primary project “evangelist”, promoting the business value of the project to clients from the requirements phase through deployment. Require experienced resource who is able to compensate for possible lack of industry/MRO specific knowledge.
