*Title– System Architect* *Primary Location: El Segundo, California* *Rate – Max $75/hr* *Visa: GC & US Citizen Only* *Job Description:* · Client is seeking technically savvy System Architect to support multiple ongoing and future projects in a fast paced environment. · This position requires strong architecture skills, subject matter expertise in video content delivery, solid knowledge of conditional access and identity management. · Awareness of the upcoming trends in the entertainment/media industry especially Personalization and Recommendation domain. *Responsibilities:* · Experience working as architect on deliver personalized user experience, content discovery and recommendations. · Experience working with cloud service provider such as DigitalSmith, ContentWise and other integrating with their services. · Awareness of the upcoming trends in the entertainment / media industry, how to up-sell revenue-generating items and cross-sell other media. · Conducting architectural assessments, breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces, and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. · Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. · Develop technical documentation on applications and systems. · Facilitate and lead in the evaluation and selection of commercial-off-the-shelf product evaluation, frameworks and open source platforms *Qualifications:* · Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science), Master's degree preferred · 8+ years relevant experience as a Systems Engineer / Architect working in the Entertainment & Media industry *Experience:* · Experience in entertainment & media industry with delivering video using broadcast & broadband/cellular streaming mechanism · Experience in Broadcast/broadband Television, Video-On-Demand, Pay Per View · Experience working as architect defining the roadmap and strategy for increasing customer engagement via personalization and recommendation of content. · Experience in coming up with high-level architectural design and technology roadmaps · Understanding of latest trends and technologies including mobile based applications preferred · Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate without guidance · Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse and cross-functional groups and good negotiation skills.
