*Description**:*

Our client in Nashville, TN is searching for a candidate to fulfill the
role of Infrastructure Change and Release Coordinator. In this role, you’ll
be responsible for the scheduling, coordination of infrastructure changes
into production for multiple teams, including UNIX, Linux, Windows,
Network, Security and Storage.  You’ll work with technical resources in
those groups to gather data about the change and input that information
into the Service Now Ticketing system.  You’ll also ensure that a change
plan with pre-implementation, implementation and post implementation steps
is completed by the technical team with the proper amount of detail.

The Infrastructure Change and Release Coordinator will work with
application teams using the CMDB to determine what applications are
affected by the change.  You’ll work with managers from the application
teams to name resources responsible for validation and testing of
applications after the change is made and you’ll be responsible for running
the call during the change and ensuring all parties involved are following
the run book.  The Coordinator will be responsible for communications
before, during and after the change and will escalate issues as outlined in
the ITSM processes.



*Duties and Responsibilities:*

·         Receives technical playbook from technical resources and ensures
pre-migration, migration and post migration tasks are sufficiently outlined
in the document

·         Uses information from the playbook to enter information into the
Service Now Change control system

·         Researches information in the CMDB and communicates with the
application and technical teams to determine what applications are affected
by the change

·         Determines best deployment time based on business need, risk and
other change and release activity schedules

·         Coordinates communications to the business through the
application support and operations teams prior to the change

·         Leads the call during the change and ensures all parties involved
in the change are executing as outlined in the playbook; records updates of
time and comments in the playbook as the change is executed

·         Sends communications as appropriate during and after the change
to relevant parties as agreed to in the playbook

·         Leads initiatives to improve the build and deployment process.
Makes recommendations to improve quality, reporting, and reduce deployment
time.

·         Leads after change analysis to improve change template and
uploads template to Knowledge Base to be used the next time this type of
change is needed



*To qualify for consideration, you must meet or exceed the following:*

·         Experience with ITSM and ITIL change and release methodology

·         Experience with change management systems.

·         Experience with IT infrastructure and terminology is preferred.

·         Experience in Retail is preferred.

·         Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems

·         ITIL and ITSM certifications preferred

·         Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

·         Ability to work with cross functional technical teams

·         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle
conflict and to work with a distributed team.

·         Strong ability to work independently, work in a fast paced
environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality
work products on time with minimal direction.

·         Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to use proven
problem solving approaches to most solutions.

·         Significant evening and weekend work from home due to outage
windows being after work hours to avoid disruptions in service to our
customers.
