Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. The Data Warehouse Architect 2 positions will serve as hands-on developers with responsibility for the design, development, and deployment of complex ETL processes for VDOT’s Master Data Management (MDM) program. These individuals will also be responsible for work outside of the MDM program whenever large data conversion or integration tasks must be addressed. The candidate must possess good communication and problem solving skills in order to successfully perform data analysis efforts with a wide spectrum of business analyst teams. The candidate needs to be detail oriented and possess the ability to multitask across projects. - Greater than 5 years of experience with DataStage. Expertise in 7.1 and version 8.x required. - Experience with other IBM InfoSphere toolsets desired. - Ability to design and document interface specifications is imperative.
