*Position: Storage Engineer* *Location: Woon Socket, RI, Scottsdale, AZ* *Duration: 6+ months* *Target Technologies: * The skill set needs to include: · CommVault · Tivoli Storage Manager · Data Domain · IBM & Quantum Tape Library Management · Isilon · VNX *PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE:* · 5+ years of experience with Enterprise Backup Engineering technologies *Required Skills:* · Strong knowledge of backup based storage technologies (Data Domain, IBM & Quantum tape libraries) · Strong knowledge of backup storage replication, de-duplication, encryption technologies and data migration techniques. · Understanding of connectivity requirements for open systems hosts (Windows, Linux, Unix) and backup storage subsystems (Tape and NAS). · Understanding of how to interact with external vendors in the form of troubleshooting and escalation · Ability to do both capacity planning and performance analysis *Desired Abilities:* · Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills · Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral, listening and writing) skills are required · Excel at efficient multi-tasking · Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks and resolving issues in order to deliver quality projects on time and within budget · Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation *Shubhangi Sharma United Software Group Inc.. 565 Metro Place South.
