*Role-Platform Architect or Java Architect* *Location-Chicago IL* We were working on towards trying to create distinction in the roles so that they are interview accordingly. The proposal was to split the role into two as follows: - *Platform Architect: This would be an architect who is well versed in the current technology stack – PCF, Spring boot, Spring Integration, Spring MVC and Restful services. Knowledge of SOAP is required as the current applications that are being migrated are created in SOAP based architecture* The details of the JD are in the attached document. We will work with recruitment to get to the right profiles and will reach out to you if we need help on the same. *Platform Architect Role* § A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Financeor a related field. § A minimum of 7 years of post-bachelor's work experience (or 6years for Master’s degree); 5 years must be relevant work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services § Understanding of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues. § Experience with at least one Cloud Based Platform (Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure). § Experience developing systems in MVC or MVVM architecture. § Good fundamental understanding of Object Oriented Programming. § Experience with one of the following programming languages (C#, Java, Python, Ruby). § Experience guiding, designing and assisting in implementing Service Oriented Architecture. § Experience with and good understanding of Business Process Management, Business Rules Management Systems, Complex Event Processing systems. § Design and implement APIs, deep understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP, UDP etc. § Practical knowledge and experience with client-site technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular.js, Backbone, Dojo) § Experience working in Middleware products such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, IBM Message Broker, etc. § Experience with relational database system (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle). § Experience with open data systems (e.g., MongoDB, CassandraDB, CouchDB, Redis). § Familiarity with design patterns (e.g., Cloud, Integration, Presentation). § Experience implementing security such as OAuth, SAML, Single Sign On, Mobile Device Management, etc. § Experience developing schemas (e.g., XSD, JSON, AVRO, etc.) and related data structures. § Experience with source control (e.g., GIT, MAVEN, VSS, Team Foundation). § Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment. § Experience in DevOps. § Ability to identify technology standardization opportunities, specify options, weigh implementation complexities and risks to make the right technical decision. § Experience in producing application architecture diagrams, application interaction diagrams, application blueprints, roadmaps, etc. § Ability to define standard patterns across various business streams § Understanding of systems infrastructure and various approaches to load balancing and fault tolerance.
