Hi, Job Title: Tableau Administrator. Server Admin role (not Site Admin) Location: Jersey City /NJ Duration: 4+ Months/Contract *Interview: Telephonic and Skype* *Note- This is Opening for Tableau Administrator. Server Admin role (not Site Admin)* *Requirements:* 5+ years of product implementation, system integration or development experience with strong understanding of Tableau Architecture and Administration 3+ years of experience with Tableau installations, configuration and administration Strong expertise with Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning & disaster recovery A) Tableau server upgrade from v 9.3 to 10.1 * Assist with Dev, QA, Production, HA installations of BI Tableau 10.1 * Working with Windows Servers (2008/2012) & networking technologies, Windows Active Directory, SAML for security architecture and IIS for Web Servers, Storage devices like NAS, SAN * Unit testing of key tableau dashboards and 10.1 features and functionality * Working with Site admins and user community in getting QA and user signoffs * Tableau content migration to 10.1 * Set up security & user groups in the new 10.1 version * Work with Server admins on the implementation rollout plan, change management and release management activities * Product documentation of 10.1 version * Production migration to Tableau 10.1 version * Post production support B) Tableau server Administration * Support multi environment Tableau infrastructure including security, troubleshooting and general system maintenance * To automate administrative tasks like Backups/restore, schedules, user group creation using Python and Restful API * Creating administrative dashboards and reports for tracking server and resource utilization. * Troubleshooting performance issues and resolving them with utmost priority in production environment. * System Admin (includes New site creation, Server maintenance, upgrades, patches, and Schedule control. * Working with Windows Servers (2008/2012) & networking technologies, Windows Active Directory, SAML for security architecture and IIS for Web Servers, Storage devices like NAS, SAN * Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches. * Platform monitoring, availability and performance management, and service reporting (KPI) * Incident management, showstopper resolution, root cause analysis. * Backup and recovery * Usage monitoring, technical policies set up and controls, admin best practices, technical audits * Assist in identifying and migrating data sources to tableau server * Work with TDA B.O admins in trouble shooting issues, if any during upgrade activities * Document best practices in 4.2 version for Admins & Developers * General Admin / Maintenance tasks assistance required. *Umang Jain | Sr. Technical Recruiter| Apetan Consulting LLC* *Phone: 201-620-9700* ** 1**45* *|* *Mailing Address:* 72 Van Reipen Avenue pmb#255, Jersey City, NJ 07306 *Corp.
