Develop code with Informatica, SQL Server and Shell Scripts. . Design/Architect ETL solutions as a member of a cross-functional team. . Gather requirements, design/develop, test and maintain data transformations and data loading. . Assist with system management and manage ETL scalability. . Follow change management processes for either application defect resolution or to develop enhancements. . Work with application development teams from initial specification drafting through implementation. . Work with users to understand and resolve issues. . Assist with QA and UAT for developed processes. . Create detailed deployment and production support documents for developed code. . Work with Production Support group to resolve Production Issues. *JOB REQUIREMENTS* . Must have strong experience in ETL development using Informatica version 7 or greater. . Experience working with and able to demonstrate knowledge of complex Informatica transformations. . Proven experience working with XML and Flat Files in Informatica. . Experience working with very large data sets in ETL projects. . Experience in ETL performance tuning /optimization. . Experience indentifying, researching, and resolving ETL issues and producing root cause. . Experience with the Informatica command line utilities. . Experience with error handling in ETL projects. . Experience with leveraging reusable components in Informatica. . Experience drafting ETL specifications. . Strong experience in SQL Server database development. . Strong SQL query-writing ability. . Must have medium level shell scripting experience. . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate issues and follow-up through issue resolution. . Should be able to demonstrate sound analytical and diagnostic skills. *Desirable* . Financial Sector experience. .
