Web Application Developer – Java / Flex The developer we seek will have experience in developing commercial grade, cross-platform, Rich Internet Applications (RIAs). In addition, the developer will have experience developing high-volume web services that are highly available and scalable. The ideal candidate will be proficient in coding web application tiers including presentation, application, and data tiers. This developer role requires a proactive, quality driven, team-oriented individual who thrives in an agile, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities •Design, code and test client applications using Adobe Flex framework to deliver applications across multiple browsers and client platforms. •Design, code, and test Java components within a Spring framework. •Develop and maintain MySQL database schemas and data sets. •Proactively identifies system deficiencies and recommends appropriate solutions. •Assist in scoping future releases by assessing effort, complexity, and risk associated with new feature requests and bug reports. •Provide platform production support when needed. Required Skills •Understands common web design patterns and their relative merits. •A solid understanding of Flex, ActionScript, Java, Servlets, Spring. •Developing user interfaces that implement best practices. •Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML. •Understands browser specific compatibility issues. •Ability to work in Linux environment. •Fosters a collaborative environment that leverages the strength our on-shore and off-shore teams. •Understands the role of technology as a business enabler. •Excellent oral and written communication skills. •Experience with Ad Server technology is a plus.
