This candidate must have experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and preferably have a background in higher education. Current rate is $70/hr. This candidate must be available for a face-to-face interview. *Basic Qualifications:* * *** Basic Qualifications Solid understanding of the principles of server-side development in a distributed, multi-tier, enterprise environment; Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, Java (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS, JDBC, JMX), Web/Application Servers (Tomcat, Weblogic), Relational Databases (Oracle) and XML technologies; Proficiency in Web 2.0 technologies like AJAX and XML UI; Familiarity with frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring; Understanding of the principles of User-centric design; *5+ years *software development experience with demonstrable technical leadership; Excellent communication skills and a passion for innovation; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area. Experience with PeopleTools suite with version 8 or above, including responsibility for development of modifications and interfaces.
