Position: Java Developer Location: Austin, TX Duration: 9 months + WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skill in the following: J2EE (JAVA, EJB, JSP), ASP.Net, BEA Weblogic, Oracle 10g or higher, JavaScript, PERL, XML, HTML, UNIX, myEclipse, Visual Studio 2008 or higher, Internet web browsers, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the following: Technical development and production environments, industry best practices for requirements gathering, design, analysis, development, validation, and implementation. Experience with the following: Use office productivity software, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, lead/participate in requirements gathering sessions with large groups of staff and develop detailed work plans, meet project schedules with minimal supervision, learn and apply new technology, and work in a team environment. Skills/Experience • J2EE (JAVA, EJB, JSP), JavaScript, Oracle 10g or higher • Analyze, design, develop, validate, test, and deploy web-based application software using Oracle relational database and industry best standard practices. • PERL, XML, HTML, Internet web browsers, and Microsoft Office Suite • BEA Weblogic, UNIX, myEclipse, Visual Studio 2008 or higher • Gather and document requirements for technical software applications that also comply with industry best standard practices. • ASP.Net • Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.
