*Please forward resumes to [email protected] Title:SAN Administrator* * Location:Elk Groove, CA Duration:6-12+Months Job Description:* A successful candidate will have 5+ years experience of enterprise level Storage Area Networking along with strong Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) skills. Candidate should have working knowledge with IBM Enterprise storage including ESS and DS technologies, Network Appliance and Datadomain storage systems, along with IBM/AIX, Sun/Solaris, and Oracle Enterprise Linux operating systems. Tape backup environment consists of IBM 3494, 3584, Sun StorageTek tape libraries, VTL's and other disk based backup technologies. This position is focused on SAN and TSM backup/recovery administration including: general maintenance, configuration, provisioning, logical volume management; performance review and troubleshooting; working with Vendors and IS Operations on incidents and upgrades; testing and researching of new technologies and use of TSM Disaster Recovery Module. A strong background with shell or perl scripting is required. Must be familiar with director class SAN switches, preferably McData/ Brocade and DCFM or EFCM management tools. A working knowledge of Qlogic switches is preferred. Must provide a proven track record of maintaining an enterprise SAN environment. Analytical skills and the ability to work across IS groups also required. Position is part of an on-call rotating coverage group and will require 7x24 support as part of that rotation.
