Job Title: Sr.Java Developer (fixed income/debt/derivatives is Must) Location: NY/NJ Duration: 6 Months *Description:* Senior developer to implement/enhance core components of risk analytics platform The candidate will play a central role in creating new capabilities/integrating the risk analytics platform. Must be able to quickly grasp the requirements and develop solutions for the risk analytics (Algorithmics) platform. *Responsibilities* Design, plan and implement IT solutions for a Java/Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) and Unix (shell scripting) technical environments Creates Project Architecture documentation and effectively communicates implementation steps to leadership. Create Detailed Design documents and their adherence to Enterprise Architecture Standards Lead mid-level planning exercises with developers/QA, change management and production support engineers Anticipate issues and risks at the module level and escalate appropriately Project Manage scope, time and quality throughout the project life-cycle Facilitate and drive workshops to help translate business requirements into system design *Knowledge/Experience* Strong development skills demonstrated through a history of delivering significant and complex systems.
