Provides support to the end users and the functional teams by assigning security roles, maintaining users IDs and performing change management tasks. Performs necessary MS Windows Server and SQL Server Administration tasks to ensure optimized operations. Shares responsibilities with the Server Specialists team for any other middleware integration such as archiving, imaging, faxing, and tax applications as well as implementing, maintaining and testing disaster recovery and business continuity processes. *Minimum Requirements:* · 5+ years of experience working as an SAP Basis Administrator · Experience creating and maintaining SAP Security roles · Expertise with SAP Solution Manager · Proven troubleshooting techniques within the SAP Support System · Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Administration · Exposure to data center infrastructure including racking, server and storages systems, switches and routers, virtualized environments. · Exceptional communication skills · Ability and willingness to provide 24x7 support when needed to maintain system uptime · US Citizen or GreenCard holder * Essential Job Functions* ● Regularly apply updated support packs and kernel patches for both ABAP and Java stacks ● Monitor SAP Performance across all SAP systems, tune system when necessary, identify issues with long running programs, perform bottleneck analysis, and work with the Hardware and Development teams to resolve. Provide alternatives to the end users when there may be a more efficient way to run a transaction ● Perform all system administration tasks related to SAP ECC, BI, CRM, PI, and Portal, each SQL DB, and the OS.
