Job Title: QA Tester * Location: *Alpharetta, GA* (LOCAL) Duration: 3+ Months * Candidate MUST be local *Rate :$35/hr* *Required experience: * Job Description: This is a position in Quality Assurance responsible for testing of systems. This position plans and executes effective and efficient test approaches to accomplish on-time and efficient delivery of high quality software products and/or data. Additionally, the position will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for automation of the client's applications using QTP and Quality Center. SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. BS degree with computer science, quality assurance, or engineering emphasis or equivalent preferred. 2. Must have at least 5 years hands-on experience in automation projects involving web-based & Client server applications. 3. Must have experience using QuickTest-Pro/Quality center/ Winrunner in the design and development of automated test scripts, to the level of writing data driven and keyword generated tests and developing user-defined functions. 4. Experience in testing and quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies. 5. Experience in test planning, including developing test approaches, cases, conditions, and expected results, and in test execution and results analysis. 6. Ability to complete testing to deliver high-quality, complex projects on time, on budget, and to specification. 7. Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to discuss issues and concepts with technical and business personnel. Must be able to work effectively with a variety of individuals, including management, engineering, operations, project management, product management, and QA staff. 8. Ability to work through complex problems to reach a workable solution. 9. Ability to understand large complex systems of diverse technologies and functions. 10. Experience in the planning and execution of software testing, including hands-on testing and applying different test methodologies. 11. Ability to work in complex testing environments in order to test cross-platform impacts. 12.
