Position : SharePoint Developer
Location : Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 6+Months
Rate : $45/hr. max
Summary: SharePoint Designer
Duties:
. Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or
proposed systems;
. Clearly assess and identify business requirements and
technical feasibility of a project and consult on functional specifications;
. Ensure quality of technical solution through regular
checkpoints and reviews;
. Ensure utilizing best practices during both design and
deployment;
. Work with platform/infrastructure experts to identify a
project solution and a sizing and optimization methodology;
. Provide development road maps;
. Provide expertise, lead technical meetings, and communicate
effectively with different development teams and departments;
. Work in cross-functional teams to define and design system
architecture, data, workflows, scalability, security, user experience, and
usability. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project
objectives. This includes successful completion of project phase
deliverables, on time, with-in budget, and to the specified quality standards.
. Implement enhancements of SharePoint services;
. Create/update internal procedures for SharePoint users;
. Documentation of project deliverables;
. Train and develops team members when required;
. Assist in the development of training documentation, as
needed;
. Maintains competency with respect to the Microsoft
development platform, system knowledge, and industry best practices and trends;
. Performs related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
. Thorough knowledge of SharePoint development from coding
programs to evaluating system performance;
. Thorough knowledge of information systems design principles
and new systems design techniques;
. Thorough knowledge of industry standards, procedures, and
techniques used for application development;
. Thorough knowledge of application development software tools
and application development software languages;
. Thorough knowledge of both system and business applications
and competent to work at the highest technical level and/or specialized area;
. Ability to perform problem solving and analytical analysis;
. Ability to work independently under general direction;
. Ability to manage multiple application development software
projects or existing systems and related priorities;
. Ability to read and understand complicated technical manuals;
. Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working
relationship with others;
. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in
writing.
