Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in systems development in a variety of computing architectures and environments. Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering. Must have strong technical expertise in the J2EE environment, C++, UNIX, Windows, MQ Series, UML, Tiered architecture, Relational Databases, Web development, and object oriented methodologies. B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required. Requires 5 to 10 years of experience in IT with a minimum of five years in application systems design. Good communication skills are integral to this position. Prior experience working with offshore teams would be highly desired.
