Must have: Experience developing Java Servlets, JSP, HTML, CSS, SQL, Java script, and an understanding of relational database programming Knowledgeable about web standards, W3C specifications and cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility Ability to create and modify complex Java script, manipulate the DOM, and design CSS-based layout. Strong attention to detail with a focus on end-user experience Knowledgeable with form input validation and web application security Solid OO design and development experience Development experience with JDBC, stored procedures, and MVC architectures Knowledgeable in SMTP and best-practices for developing Servlets with email functionality Experience developing with Ant and troubleshooting build scripts Application deployment experience with at least one enterprise-level web application server (preferably WebSphere) Nice to have: Hands-on experience with AJAX methodologies, XSL/XSLT, XML, JSON, and jQuery.
