The first charter is to evaluate 'all tools that exist within the client' before considering bringing in other tools. Client needs a strong Data Governance consultant with Health Care experience. Ideally knows the Health Care, or Pharma industry well- (ie- Members, Providers claims.) This Strategist will help setup a Data Governance (DG) Model and needs to have full life cycle experience implementing this governance model; end to end Data governance projects. Needs to have had broad exposure to DG tools..i.e. data modeling tools, exposure to Information architecture someone who is data savvy... ETL tools (they use Informatica, but any ETL tool will suffice), BI (Business Intelligence) tools, Data Architecture Good problem solver/ good comm. skills / as stated above - must have project experience Will need to how to take business issues, working with data stewards and operational stewards - and understand when Data changes - how to ensure that the business factors this into the process.
