( F2F Required or Cocal ).* Discription: Senior Java developers with at least 8 years of experience in the following skills: extensive development at the Enterprise level, Core J2EE servlet-based technologies (Servlet, JSP, JSTL, Custom Tag Libraries, JSF, etc), Struts, MVC Framework, IBM WebSphere (with experience in version 6 or higher), IBM Rational ClearCase. - Strong database skills with at least 8 years of experience including 2 years of recent experience with Informix. - Experience with Java applications that integrate data and electronic images of source documents. - Knowledgeable in OO design and programming principles. - Demonstrated web development experience. - Demonstrated experience creating large software systems in a dynamic business environment. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with the user community. The successful applicant(s) will work in a rapid development environment, which will require being onsite for the duration of this SOW, working closely with CDOS I.T. staff and clients during these projects. Prior to the end of this contract, the applicant will deliver to the CDOS: - Complete documentation of the architecture, design, and user interface of any work product created and/or modified during performance; - Newly generated applications and updates to existing applications per CDOS requirements; and, - Knowledge transfer to CDOS employees upon completion of performance. The Lead Developer/Analysts will work on a time and material basis, but are expected to complete and implement the assigned programs at the direction and with the assistance of the CDOS I.T. staff. Upon completion of the development, the source code and all software rights and design rights will be the sole property of the Colorado Department of State.
