Job Title: .Net developer Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 7 Months *Only citizens and GC’s* *YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED MUST BE IN THE RESUME* *Duties include:* 1 - Review and analyze trouble tickets received from our Helpdesk (these tickets are generated from users that experience an issue when using an application supported by our team). 2 - Participate on projects during all phases of the project lifecycle with the majority of the work in the planning, design, coding and testing phases. 3 - Handle multiple assignments at a time and complete them on time. Assignments can be the building of new or enhanced *VB.Net applications*, often with* SQL server dependencies. *May include development of *stored procedures and/or Crystal Reports or batch.* 4 - Check in/Check out code in team's code repository during assignments. 5 - Communicate project statuses with assigned project managers at least daily and immediately when issues arise. 6 - Attend bi-weekly team status meeting to provide status on all projects. 7 - Submit code for review to ensure adherence to Aetna coding standards and correct any issues deemed mandatory to correct. 8 - Interpret business requirements in order to estimate coding effort. Technical requirement documents are not provided. We rely on the developer's knowledge of coding to implement the proper solution.
