Works with the Development lead to ensure appropriate integration of SAP PI/XI components. Responsible for developing the interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems. Also responsible for the delivery and support of the PI XI application for projects within one or more process areas.In addition, the individual would also need to integrate ( SAP XI / PI) with the project teams to understand requirements, dates and key activities consequently assisting the build Manager on estimates for the build activities in the process areas assigned. *POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* SAP PI / XI Development, Administration and on-going support for developed items Develop and document processes and standards to support technical related items for use by the project team members. Be proactive in addressing problems and in advancing solutions. Ensure standard Synthes’s global processes are followed Develop and deliver as per technical direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of large-scale, enterprise applications projects. Ability to perform under pressure in a professional manner. Required to solve medium to complex problem solving skills. Responsible for many events simultaneously and should be comfortable multi-tasking initiatives. Work with Process team to gather integration / interface requirements Develop integration and user acceptance testing for interfaces Lead the development of interfaces , testing of interfaces Support interface performance tuning and reusability Training of end-users Ongoing support of the end-users as needed post go-live Lead timely issue resolution and appropriate issue escalation for reporting issues Identify gaps in solution design and assist in closing the gaps * * *PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:* Strong SAP delivery and systems development and build process knowledge SAP Netweaver XI / PI Technical knowledge SAP Functional Knowledge and SAP configuration skills in any SAP module Ability to identify options to enhance SAP standard functionality e.g. User Exits when appropriate Experience in 2nd line support (Incident Management) for central and distributed Middleware systems and integration software focused on core Enterprise level applications including, but not limited to, SAP PI, SAP Business Connecter and WebSphereMQ Proven systems delivery and/or design knowledge in more than one SAP module * * *EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline * * *OTHER REQUIREMENTS: * SAP implementation experiences at least 2 full life cycle SAP projects with global footprint Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work both in a management capacity, and in a detailed, hands-on system capacity Must be highly organized, creative, articulate, analytical and driven.
