Responsible for leading the Portals team. * * *POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Enterprise Portal Development, Administration and on-going support for developed items Develop and document processes and standards to support technical related items for use by the project team members. Ensure standard Synthes’s global processes are followed Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of large-scale, enterprise applications projects. Identify gaps in solution design and assist in closing the gaps Ensures that adequate plans are in place; co-develops detailed project plans * * *PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:* Strong hands-on experience with SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) Development Have had SAP NetWeaver architect and development responsibilities for at least 3 engagements, covering the following areas: SAP NetWeaver Portal design and development, SAP Portal Server related technologies, Understanding of Portal/Application Services processes, Analyze customer requirements and develop technical solutions, Hands-on developed project deliverables - formal/structured methodology. Expertise in using EP System administration, Users administration and Content Administration activities and set standards for team of developers. Installing Business packages and customizing out-of-box Business packages using NWDI. Development using SAP Web Dynpro, Web Services, J2EE Engine, Web Services, DTR Client, Java Eclipse, Java Dictionary. Must have developed custom SSO solutions for non-SAP & SAP applications. Must have experience with the integration of SAP EP with multiple SAP backends (BI, SRM, SCM, CRM, ECC and non-SAP backends. Worked on defining guidelines and customize Portal navigation framework for different customer base. Work and drive the development effort with the Technical team Strong experience in WebDynpro, iView/worksets/pages/roles development Have experience configuring UWL and integrating with workflows and user mapping Must have experience in leading the effort to design the technical solution in multi-system environment Should have handful knowledge on concepts like Knowledge Management (KM), Portal Collaboration, and Visual Composer etc. Implementation Knowledge External Facing Portals would be added advantage. EP Certification would be a plus * * *EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 8+ yrs ERP SAP Implementation experience with 6+ yrs in SAP EP. Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work both in a management capacity, and in a detailed, hands-on system capacity Must be highly organized, creative, articulate, analytical and driven. Domestic and International travel up to 30%.
