Looking for a well-rounded business system analyst (Functional and
Technical) with proven experience managing implementation and application
lifecycles.  I am looking for experience in project planning, data analysis
and reporting, process improvements, implementation and vendor selection,
and leadership qualities to champion change.  I am finding decent candidates
with Lawson experience and limited business and leadership skills.  I am
also finding strong business resource with limited experience supporting
technologies in an IS environment.I would prefer healthcare and Lawson
experience, but I am open to other industry and ERP experience. The right
candidate must possess the aptitude to learn new systems and process and
manage users and project for desired outcomes.

*BS or BA Degree in IS or related business field required

*7 or more years experience as a systems analyst supporting ERP systems,

*3 or more years of consulting experience with 2 or more fully lifecycle
implementations is preferred

*Experienced in configuration and support of Lawson Supply Chain suite
required

*Experience working with EDI (GHX), Point of Uses, and Mobile Supply Chain
solutions required

*Proven experience working with analytical reporting tools: Microsoft
Reporting Services or Crystal Reports preferred.

*Proven experience working with Lawson database structure

*Ability to train and assist with knowledge transfer

*Health Care experience with a strong understanding of supply chain business
processes, preferred

*Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is preferred





*Job Description:        *

* 1. Analysis and Design*

*Meets with clients and IS personnel to determine and define specific
systems information requirements and objectives for application/systems
enhancements or replacements.

*Participates in the system selection process to include the preparation of
a needs assessment, RFP, and vendor selection for an application or system.

*Analyzes problems of moderate-to-high complexity related to one or more
integrated system.

*Develops data models that describe processes and data flows related to
applications of moderate-to-high in complexity.

*Analyzes problem relationships between systems.

*Provides Help Desk support to resolve immediate problems.



*2. Specifications and Documentation*

*Prepares written documentation of the business case supporting the
application, system and/or interface change or replacement.

*Develops written specifications for programming staff representing logical
and physical design.

*Develops written documentation supporting system enhancements and/or
selection.

*Prepares project scope document.

*Prepares and monitors project plan.

*Prepares and maintains status logs.

*3. Communication*

*Employs data gathering techniques and demonstrates the ability to:

*Interview clients and extract the appropriate detail from the interview.

*Prepares project scope document, project plan, issues log and RFP for the
implementation of a new system or complex enhancement to an existing system.

*Identifies appropriate resources required to achieve goal.

*Monitors project plan tasks and milestones; identifies and reports project
changes; reports status of project to Lead IS staff and/or IS manager.



*7. Testing*

*Develops and implements test plans that are comprehensive and inclusive of
the problem to be resolved. Plans should include testing logic to produce
successful and failed outcomes.

*Document all outcomes from the testing process.

*Tests all components of the application and related interfaces to ensure
that the expected outcomes are achieved.

*For data conversions, validates the quality and accuracy of the data
converted.



*8. Change Management*

*Follows departmental standards regarding change control. Reports changes to
appropriate personnel.

*Acts as change agent to assist and support client to move from old to new
solution set.

*Prepares formal change implementation plan; identifies resources required
to implement change.

*Presents change to the IS Change Control Committee.

*Monitors change after implementation to validate the change in the
production environment.



*9. General Management*

*Responsible for coordinating staff and managing project plan for assigned
system implementation.

*Responsible for reporting project issues and staff performance issue to IS
Manager.

*Reviews and delegates work to team members; monitors progress on team
performance; ensures administrative tasks are complete.



*10. Teaching*

*Educates analysts and programmers on system and interface functionality and
their relationship to the client's business requirements, objectives and
operational needs.

*11. Coding and Application Tools*

*Demonstrates ability to effectively use application delivered toolsets to
complete assigned tasks, troubleshoot problems, and resolve problems.

*Uses third-party software packages to complete assigned tasks.

*12. Benchmarking*

*Devises pre-project benchmarking metrics and conducts post-project metrics
for moderate to complex project assignments.
