(6.1 sp2 preferred with 5.x a must) Pega PRPC certification is desirable. 5+ years of application architecture and design experience. 5+ years of programming and design experience utilizing JAVA. 5+ years working experience with application server technology (Websphere preferred) 5+ years experience of enterprise level systems development with strong knowledge of industry standard interface protocols. (i.e. SOAP, MQ, HTTP, EJB, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong working knowledge or Pega Standards and Guardrails. Strong business and product knowledge including Business Process Analysis and Direct Capture of Objectives. (DCO) Strong knowledge of PRPC optimization, profiling, and trouble shooting. Strong working knowledge of SQL. Ability to manage rapid change and concurrent development. Experience supporting highly available systems. Ability to create and manage inside a J2EE/SOA architecture. Ability to rapidly create prototypes. Strong working knowledge of data modeling standards and JAVA class structures. Design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills. Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
