DB2UDB DBA Location: Farmington Hills, MI - May Need In-person Interview Duration: 12 Months Job Description: Design, implement, and support enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts. Assist in the creation and implementation of the business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Defines user interfaces and functional specifications. Assist in creating new standards and procedures related to end user and internal interface development. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, testing methods, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Conduct research into new data warehouse solutions and determine feasibility. Assist in creating development standards. Troubleshoot and perform tune existing data warehouse applications. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of data warehouse systems analysis/programming activities. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May guide various groups on data warehousing activities. Work under general directions, typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager.
