Job Title: Salesforce Solution / Technical Architect Location - NYC - need to go to NJ on occasion and Washington DC a couple of times. Duration: 12-18 Months *Job Description: *Need to have a minimum of 3-5 full life cycle implementations with Salesforce.com. Need to have development and architectural skills with Salesforce.com. Must have implementation experience with large enterprise scale system. Salesforce Solution / Technical Architect Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development, this position requires the ability to lead the design, architecture and development for the SalesForce.com CRM solution. The candidate must have hands on experience and deep functional and technical knowledge of the SalesForce.com platform. Be able to mentor technical team members on the process and deliver excellent presentation, technical design, and architecture documentation. Work with business representatives, business analysts to quickly understand requirements and advocate platform best practices. The candidate must have experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations of large and complex global CRM systems on Salesforce. *The Candidate must be hands-on and have proven experience to:* Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of projects developed Lead system design discussions and recommend alternate choices, trade-offs, and impact analysis Perform detailed analysis of business and technical requirements Lead technical requirements gathering sessions and write technical approach and design documentation supporting business needs Work with technical team to create development and integration plans Assist in development and process for Data Migration Develop and make enhancements of global Salesforce.com system. Manage the technical delivery of integrations and custom extensions Work and deliver under tight timelines Deliver in an agile environment using Agile methodology Knowledgeable of APP Exchange applications, installation and integration Work with business representatives, business analysts to quickly understand requirements. *Qualifications:* Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer Salesforce.com Architecture, Design, Development, Administration and Operational Support required 7+ years of overall IT experience with emphasis on large-scale highly integrated systems 3+ years of working experience in implementing Salesforce.com integrations with Enterprise IT organizations Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com functionalities and modules. Expert at Salesforce configuration, Visual Force pages, triggers, workflows and Apex coding Force.com developer toolkit – Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs Experience integrating and working with App Exchange applications.
