Physical database tables and design, works with system administrator and
uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and
security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy.

Use tuning tools to improve database performance.

Work with the application development teams, focusing on the back-end
portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for
application systems being developed.

Required Skills:

Microsoft SQL Server administration

SQL developer experience.

SQL programming, writing stored procs, data modeling knowledge, writing
SSIS,

Expert level knowledge in SQL programming.

Proven problem solving and debugging skills.

Fine tune existing Stored Procs and SQLs.

Be able to maintain versions and syncup different Database environments.

Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical
ability.


Preferred:

·         Experience designing, coding, and maintaining complex stored
procedures.

·         Experience with participating/performing database code and design
reviews.

·         Experience performing database development tasks within a J2EE or
comparable platform.

·         Experience in a structured development environment utilizing MSSQL
2000, 2005, and/or 2008.

·         Experience working with application code teams in
developing/delivering/modifying database objects (especially Stored
Procedures) as per project requirements.
