*Tomcat Engineer*

*Location: Columbus, OH*

*Length: 6-12 months*

*Start: ASAP*



In this role you will be responsible for:

·         Responding promptly to application alerts and issues during your
shift.

·         Adhere to standards, SLAs and processes for incident resolution.

·         Maintain production support run docs for each application.

·         Proactively monitor ticket queue and systems during shift hours.

·         Analyze and drive to RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

*Qualifications :*

·         2+ years in a development/support role
on Apache/Tomcat/WebSphere.  *Tomcat administration experience required*.

·         2+ years experience in  web application support.

·         2 - 3 years of Pega PRPC application development and/or  support
experience preferred.

·         2+ years support in a UNIX and LINUX environment

·         Good understanding of object oriented frameworks, Object Oriented
Language (JAVA) and business workflow based solutions.

·         Good understanding of application interface technologies (MQ, FTP,
SOAP, JDBC)

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Visio.

·         Experience using ECMS, Peregrine, and EURC a plus.
