Please forward resumes to [email protected] * * * *Title : Database Designer/ Modeler* *Duration : 12-24 Months |* *Location : Baltimore, MD (Need only Locals)* *Required Skills* - At least 6 years of solid technical experience with database design and modeling. - Experience extracting and documenting data requirements from business/functional requirements. - Solid experience with the following tools - CA Erwin Data Modeler - CA Erwin Model Manager - Experience with the development of reporting mechanisms. - Design and develop data stage models that promote efficiency, integrity and flexibility. - Ability to generate logical and/or physical data models from scratch based off business requirements is a must. - Demonstrated proficiency in Data-Management concepts, practices and procedures, extensive knowledge of DBMS in multi-tiered, Web/Client/Server environments, as well as extensive knowledge of data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design and ETL tools, processes and methodology. - Specific experience with data warehousing in a DB2 environment is a must. Ability to analyze legacy databases/systems to develop data mapping and design the ETL strategy is a must. - Have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills - Must be able to navigate in a Windows workstation setting, and have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). - Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical.
