You will be responsible for providing escalated support, working on enhancements, fixing defects and working on projects related to The organization's Data Warehouse environment. To fulfill this role you will collaborate with analysts, project managers, DBAs, and others across The organization. You will start as an operational resource to learn and train in the environment. You will broaden your software engineering knowledge on how The organization utilizes Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions, by understanding the systems and solutions that support it, the Integration of various Business functions, and the flow of The organization's data. You will train and transition daily support to service providers and Site IS, so more time can be focused on frontier focused cases. In this role your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: · Developing ETL solutions as identified by the Business and IS BI Analyst. · Working with the Business to resolve projects and operational Issues and mitigate risks as applicable. · Participating in Unit testing and integration testing activities. · Documenting and training IBM and Site IS in support of the Site Data Warehouse. · Working with Site IS to package and deploy releases to each site. · Continuing to improve management and maintenance of each Site's data warehouse. · Developing and supporting extract, transformation and load (ETL) processes using a variety of tools and methods, performance tune ETL (including SQL). · Understanding data models, business rules, data extraction tools and methods for source systems. · Working closely with BI analyst and business analysts to define technical requirements and to understand the business and/or manufacturing processes surrounding data marts. · Ensuring data quality through good design. · Developing procedures and adequate testing. · Adhering to standards and recommendations and facilitating design and code walkthroughs. *Qualifications* Successful Candidates for this position will have: · Experience in one or many of the following: ETL, SQL, Perl and or C#. · *Experience with PL/SQL and DataStage*** · Strong Problem Solving Skills. · Strong verbal and written communication, as well as teamwork and consensus building skills. · The ability to work overtime to cross train in other aspects of our data warehouse environment. *Regards,* *Ejaz* *Bridge Technologies and Solutions * *Phone : (303) 719-6919 * *Email : **[email protected]*<[email protected]> ** *www.bridgetechsolutions.com* <http://www.bridgetechsolutions.com/>** -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
