As a Silverlight developer, you will work as part of a small (3-4) agile team to design, implement and test web-based applications. You will work under the supervision of a Technical Lead and participate in the Scrum development process. * Key responsibilities & activities Your primary responsibilities will be to:* •design UI screens using XAML, write C# code to implement the UI logic and use WCF to communicate with the backend, •ensure your code is well documented, tested and is of highest quality, •identify critical technical feasibility in your area of work, •use your creativity and skills to propose appealing and sound technical solutions, •participate in the Scrum process, including task estimations during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, •come up with new ideas, new technologies or new libraries that can help or improve the development of our applications. *PROFILE* •3+ years of experience building commercial-grade web applications using C# and .NET 3.5/4.0 •1+ year of experience using Silverlight 3/4 and/or WPF •Experiences with MVVM and IoC are pluses •Good understanding of web architectures •Solid background in OO design and programming. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Ability to work with minimal supervision, well organized, structured and creative, •Ability to work collaboratively with other developers and project managers to ensure quality product development and successful product releases •Sound problem-solving and initiative taking, •Ability to cope with pressure and demonstrate a reasonable level of flexibility/adaptability, •B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
