Position: Salesforce Lead Developer
Location: NY
Duration: 6+Months
*Job Description:** *
The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for coding the migration of a
major in house CRM system used by a call center to SalesForce.com . The
conversion will involve integrating with several legacy systems and planning
the deployment so as to be minimally disruptive and maximize business value.
*
Required Skills:*
* 5+ years relevant work experience with at last 3 + years experience in
SalesForce.com deployments and integration into larger enterprises.
* Proven expertise in SOA using both SOAP and REST based web services,
and an understanding of the issues presented by such systems.
* Experience integrating with cloud based systems, where a private
system may need to work with a public infrastructure, with all the data
security and performance issues that implies.
* Hands-on ability to code in APEX, Visualforce.
* Completion of several Salesforce.com integrations and extension
projects in development and lead technical roles.
* Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP.
* Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Deep understanding of Force.com platform and capabilities.
* Experience with Enterprise Integration tools.
* Experience with web application development on other platforms (i.e.
Java, .NET).
* Demonstrated deployments of enterprise software systems using industry
standard environments including XML, XSLT, HTTP/HTTPS,CSS, Java Script,
Java/JSP/JSF, C++, and C#/ASP.NET.
* Strong database skills, preferably with Oracle PL/SQL.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop processes and
methodologies.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take
advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
*Experience/Skills Desired:*
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS (or related)and/or
equivalent work experience
