Need Data Modeler Location: Newark, NJ Duration: 6 Months F2F Required after Phone Screen Skills: Six to eight years of experience in Information Technology with emphasis on Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Development, DWH, BI , Data Analysis, SQL and PL/SQL • Extensive experience in Data Architecture and good at maintaining Data Standards • Experience in Conceptual, Logical and Physical Database design of relational databases & Extensively Created Metadata documents as well. • Well versed in Normalization/De-normalization techniques for optimum performance in relational and dimensional database environments. • Experience in designing star schema, identification of facts, measures and dimensions, Snowflake schema and ODS architecture for modeling a Data Warehouse used in relational, dimensional and multidimensional modeling • Excellent knowledge in data analysis and modeling of Databases for business applications in Client/Server (OLTP) and Data warehouse environments (OLAP) systems. • Data Mart design and creation of Cubes using Dimensional data modeling and identifying Facts and Dimensions. • Very good experience in Ralph Kimbal and Bill Inmon Methodologies. • Very good experience in Object Oriented data modeling using tools like ER/Studio for both forward and reverse engineering • Experience in MS Visio, Rational Rose, EA for use case and context diagrams. • Very good understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts with emphasis on ETL and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementation. • Experienced in various databases Design of development and Production environment involving Oracle, SQL server, DB2, MS Access, Sybase. • Responsible for coordinating JAD sessions with business users, gather and define the key performance indicators, document and present the requirements specifications • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with individuals at all levels Thanks & Regards** *Mike Clarke ..**?** *** Technical Recruiter** -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
