Demonstrated understanding of conceptual, logical and physical data modeling techniques, model QA and model documentation. B. Demonstrated understanding of relational database constructs C. Demonstrated understanding of physical database optimization including denormalization, indexing, and table partitioning. D. Demonstrated understanding of data warehouse theory and data constructs. E. Demonstrated skills with one or more data modeling CASE tools (e.g., Erwin) preferred. F. Strong ability to work with business units to formulate business and data requirements and with database administrators to implement database schemas required. G. Experience in a health insurance organization or health related industry preferred. H. Understanding of metadata management, data governance and data quality. I. Excellent communication, both written and verbal. J. Excellent facilitation skills. K. Should be known as an agent of change. L. Project Management experience preferred. M. Customer Service oriented N. Ability to get the job done O. Ability to focus on a critical path Experience Minimum Five (5) years experience developing both normalized and dimensional models for large scale data warehouses.
