It would be *preferred if the candidate has DB2 experience.* *Description:*** The qualified Cognos developer will be a member of a dynamic Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing team supporting a diverse portfolio of initiatives in the areas of Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Labor Management, Health Informatics and Performance Improvement. This position will be responsible for working with business users to understand their processes and requirements then translate this into the design and development of data solutions. Successful candidates will have the ability to analyze data systems to understand the business and technology around the data. The ideal candidate will have prior experience developing and designing Cognos packages and reports in a data warehouse environment and have solid experience with dashboard and scorecard development, including Cognos Cube Design and Development. Extensive experience on Cognos Cube Performance Improvement is desired. Experience with Cognos 8 and strong SQL query skills are essential.
