Please send your available consultant’s resume for the job description mentioned below. *Position: Application Administrator* *Location : Factoria, WA (Seattle)* *Duration : 6 Months+* *Start Date : ASAP* *Responsibilities:* • Support production and pre-production instances of Microsoft environments, including .Net, SharePoint, AD, Custom and COTS applications. • Define a monitoring and support strategy to insure appropriate availability and disaster recovery. • Define and implement deployment and rollback standards for all application changes to be executed in production and production staging. • Execute periodic health checks for applications and recommend changes that should be executed in the production environment to ensure optimal performance. • Design specifications for new server types based on changing business requirements. Execute on design to create new instances to be propagated through environments including but not limited to Production and Disaster Recovery. • Perform regular reviews with the application business owners to cover application health. *Qualifications:* • 5-10 years of application operations experience with Microsoft products is required. • 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft tools in a multi-tiered highly available production environment required. • 5 years Disaster Recovery support and implementation. • 2+ years’ experience with IBM Cognos • Understanding of application performance in a high availability Real/Virtual environment strongly preferred including the ability to articulate best practice of application production support. • 5 years’ experience with system monitoring solutions such as Nagios and SCOM. • 5 years practical experience in working with backup solutions.
