Please send your available consultant’s resume for the job description mentioned below. *Position: Principal CRM Software Engineer* *Location : Boston, MA* *Duration : 6 months* *Start date : as soon as possible* * * *Job **D**escription:* The Principal Software Engineer (CRM) position is designed to work with the web project and MRM leaders to help design and tune the relationship management area of our web product. This position will provide design and implementation of proposed solutions and aid in the implementation and tuning of the products. The Principal Software Engineer (CRM) will interface with both business and technical staff and should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * * *Required **S**kills:* 1. System Design and Build a. Assess new business requirements, conduct feasibility analysis of various solution alternatives, and provide value proposition of a proposed solution. b. Provide high level design, and project sizing guidance, of a proposed solution. c. Work with the team members to influence overall software strategy and direction. d. Evaluate scalability, performance optimization needs of application systems. e. Lead and mentor team members on design principles, and solutions best practices. f. Develop solution prototype and demonstrate value proposition of a solution. 2. Partnership with Lines of Business a. Collaborate with business users, product management and project managers to understand product needs and features, project scope and estimates. b. Work closely with business partners to ensure solution meets business needs, and is aligned with architectural best practices. c. Understand line of business thoroughly, its current challenges, future direction, to help come up with good solutions, and takeaways for R&D efforts. d. Communicate and share ideas with key stakeholders, to bring idea awareness. 3. Ongoing Support and Maintenance a. Perform application performance analysis, and provide tuning recommendations at various levels i.e. application, database, system to meet performance SLAs. b. Provide support on critical troubleshooting exercises, be analytical, and be able to multi-task, and respond promptly on critical issues. c. Perform root cause analysis with supporting data, in problem/resolution scenarios. *Required **E**xperience:* *Education and Experience:* 1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Additional advanced engineering or computer science study preferred. 2. *12+ years professional experience required.* 3. *Expert level experience/knowledge in CRM technologies, Distributed Software Techniques and Service Oriented Architecture.* 4. Experience in development using *open source tools.* 5. Must exhibit expertise and experience in Object-Oriented programming techniques, Software Development Lifecycles, Unit Test Techniques, Distributed Software Techniques, Debugging/Analytical Techniques, and Test Driven Development. 6. Must have experience in *relational databases, software architecture, and BPM.* 7. Experience with *Agile methodologies* and processes a plus. 8. Financial software development experience preferred. *Qualifications:* 1. Must have knowledge of: Source Code Control Services, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Integration. 2. Possess sound, methodical engineering judgment. 3. Exhibit expert soft skills in ability to lead a team of engineers, manage trade-offs, delegate, command skills, and plan and set priorities. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5.
