Please go through the job description *****Position:****** SCOM Windows administrators****** * *Location:****** Redmond, WA.* *****Duration:****** 1+year****** * *****No of Position: 2* ****** *****Job Description******* Resources' responsibilities include assisting with managing resources, coordinating and participating in activities associated with Production Support of Online Services at clients’ Redmond campus. Resources will be focused on incident management, request management, monitoring, change management, and deployment/configuration work for Office 365 platform services within governing SLAs. They will assist with the responsibility for issues of varied scope and highly technical complexity relating to application management, as well as participate in the definition and documentation of procedures. Lead and/or participate in small to medium projects and participate in medium to large projects dealing with leading edge technology and groundbreaking service offerings. Resources will also have the opportunity to work with management and collaborate with other service teams to provide key reporting & data analysis services. Some of the other requirements are as follows: • Shift work required based on the business needs. • After hours on-call and occasional weekend work likely in order to provide coverage 24 x 7, 365 days of the year for Microsoft’s Office 365 Platform Services Operations. • For each on-call response, a minimum of one hour’s work will be invoiced; responses requiring more than one hour to resolve will be billed for actual time worked. • Handle all of the following tasks while documenting work with accuracy in defined workflow tools • Handle partner requests for system changes within SLA. • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA • Build, test, and implement SCOM based monitoring within SLA • Document new incident response procedures and update old ones within SLA • Assist and manage pre-production environment work as projects handled within SLA • Perform complex problem solving, determination and resolution of Application related-issues. Resolve and track issues with production applications. Deployment and Monitoring projects related to service delivery • Assist with production environment work as projects handled within SLA: example deployment • Provide status reporting on Support Analyst work with weekly status by mail and a monthly status meeting. • Handle off hours escalation via cell phone or pager, within SLA. The candidates should have MCSE with 4 years experience or BS in Computer Science with 1+ years managing production services on Microsoft platforms including Windows Server, IIS, SQL. CCNA with experience managing network devices a plus, demonstrable PowerShell script design and implementation experience a plus.
