Need Senior QA Tester Location: Austin, TX Duration: 4 + Months Skills: • 7+ years of software QA experience in a professional environment testing web applications. • Direct experience with testing web-based applications (.NET or Java). • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and XML. • Familiar with web-based protocols such as HTTP and SSL. • Familiar with multiple versions of Microsoft Windows. Proficient at installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting at the application, OS and networking level. • Familiar with database objects deployed on Oracle 11g. • Hands on experience with the use of various defect tracking systems (ie: JIRA, MQC); Test case tracking systems (ie: Zephyr) and source code management systems (ie: CVS, Perforce). • Recent experience with automation tools (ie: Selenium, QTP) or scripting languages (ie: Perl) • Knowledgeable in QA methodology and approaches. • Ability to provide feedback on the customer experience and product quality. • Excellent Communication skills (both verbal and written). Able to clearly articulate complex technical issues in a straight forward and concise manner • Flexible and adaptable in meeting the changing needs of the department and business.
