Position: Windows Server Engineer Location: Chicago,IL Duration: Long term 1+ year ** ** *Requirements:* *7 years minimum IT experience* 4 years minimum experience in an enterprise server environment with both administration and problem resolution of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and/or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 required. Windows Server 2003/2008 Active Directory administration including DNS expertise required MCSE on Windows Server 2003 minimum certification or 4 years current experience. (MCITP on Windows Server 2008 certification a requirement within 6 months) 4 years of Exchange 2003/2007/2010 administration experience in an enterprise environment with a minimum of 3000 accounts considered a STRONG PLUS. SQL 2005/2008 DBA experience with a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist preferred (exams 70-432 or 70-431) considered a plus. Systems management application (LANDesk, SCOM or SCCM) experience a plus Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0/4.5 and/or XenApp experience a plus. NetBackup experience a plus SAN storage management a plus Professional attitude, appearance and communication skills required May require use of own vehicle for travel in City of Chicago limits.
