The QA manager will be responsible for working with internal Client team
members and with customer stakeholders to define and document QA processes
and procedures for the complex Reporting and Analytics project for the State
of North Carolina.  The QA Manager will oversee all testing activities,
including unit testing, three separate rounds of *System Testing, User
Acceptance Testing, and Production Build Testing*.  A key responsibility
will be to coordinate *documentation* of all test results.* Rally
software*will be used to document requirements,
*test cases*, and defects.  The QA Manager will be responsible for
effectively using Rally to trace all aspects of meeting requirements through
successfully executing appropriate test cases.





*Responsibilities:*

- Establishing and maintaining testing processes and procedures, including
the* Rally test tool*, all test plans
- Creating and developing strong relationships and transparency within all
implementation sub-teams
- Representing the QA function for this project to senior management
- Representing the QA function to for this project project managers,
delivery managers, users and business sponsors
- Defining (with others) the project’s policy on QA process, QA
organization, tools and automation
- Working with representatives of the PMO to define and document standard QA
processes and procedures

-    Ensuring compliance with testing and development methodology and
policies





*Qualifications*

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related
discipline

- Minimum of *5 years in testing* and software quality assurance or as a
software development/delivery manager
- Minimum of *3 years experience* in project and staff management with
strong track record of managing teams of technology staff
- Proven experience of managing quality assurance for large complex
development projects
- High awareness of customer service
- Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills
- Energetic and able to work in dynamic environments
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Strong writing and documentation skills



*Desired Skill*

- Basic knowledge of *medical informatics
*- Knowledge of *Rally
*- Experience of working on geographically distributed & multi disciplinary
project streams
