The standard report writer must have strong Cognos skills* * * *Standard Report Writer* *Location: Tallahassee, FL* *Duration: 6months* * * * REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: * · Knowledge of Cognos 8 Business Intelligence products including Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, and Analysis Studio, or equivalent Business Intelligence tools. · Strong SQL query skills. · Strong data analysis and report writing skills. · Relational and Star Schema / Dimensional database modeling and design skills. · Ability to be flexible and work within a team environment. · Ability to effectively communicate in non-technical terms with business unit management and end users for information and reporting delivery solutions. · Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. *REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * - Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field.
