Position: SAP BO Developer/Admin Architect Location: Brentwood, TN Duration: 6+ Months ** ** Rate: $40/hr *Job description:* Need to have good understanding of Xcelsius reports and reporting skills, Universe development, administration (i.e. cmc experience) , security issues and solutions, and ETL skills. Working with code i.e. .net or Visual basic or java code. Have experience integrating code into the web portal. This is a very small shop and need someone who can work with all the various sections…an all around person. *Formal job description:* *Job description:* The Senior BI Developer role is to strategically design and implement Business Intelligence solutions, data warehouses, data marts, and data stores, while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for defining data standards and models for warehouse architectures. The BI Developer will also analyze and amend the software errors in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide status report when required. Also will port and integrate various software and code through web portal. *Essential Skills:* · 4 years experience designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting multi-terabyte Oracle data warehouses with database platforms · 3 yrs SAP Business Objects experience with Xcelsius for dashboard design. · 3 years experience working with BI reporting and SAP BO dashboard tools, (e.g. Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Microstrategies, Cognos, Etc…) · Extensive knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and query tools (e.g. SQLPlus, Toad, etc.). · Need to have good understanding of Xcelsius reports, Universe development, administration, security issues and solutions, and ETL skills. · Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices. · Knowledge of database systems and ETL software tools including best practices and methodologies. · Strong data analysis, data architecture and data modeling experience and familiarity with data modeling design tools (e.g. Erwin, PowerDesigner, ERStudio, etc.). · Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle methodology as adopted by the organization. · Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills. · Displays strong written and oral communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal skills. · Strong problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills. · Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards and products as required. · Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
